Laura Linney
Laura Leggett Linney (born February 5th 1964) is an American actress. Linney has been the recipient of numerous awards, among them two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards, and is nominated for three Academy Awards and five Tony Awards. Linney made her Broadway debut in 1990. She then getting Tony Award nominations for the 2002 revival of The Crucible, the original Broadway productions of Sight Unseen (2004), Time Stands Still (2010) and My Name Is Lucy Barton (2020) as well as the return in 2017 of The Little Foxes. The year 2001 saw Linney win an initial Emmy Award she ever received for her TV film Wild Iris. Other wins were followed by television sitcom Frasier from 2003-2004 and for short-form series John Adams in 2008. From 2010 to 2013 on the show The Big C. This series won her an Emmy Award in 2013. From 2017 through 2022, she was participant in the Netflix Crime drama Ozark.
